Our favourite Cold War alien invasion family-friendly teen drama is coming to an end with it's 4th and 5th seasons to be the closing chapters of the Stranger Things storyline.
Show creators Matt and Ross Duffer, also known as the Duffer Brothers, addressed their intentions to finish the series in a heart-wrenching letter published in the Stranger Things social channels, along with teaser posters for Season 4.
'As you'll soon see for yourselves -- we are now hurtling toward our finale' - the filmmakers pointed out, 'Season 4 will be the penultimate season; season 5 will be the last'.
The Netflix hit show first premiered on July 15th, 2016 and gained superlative appraisal from audiences and critics alike. Just in the first 4 days since its release Season 3 broke Netflix streaming records, with over 40.7 million households watching globally.
The citizens of the small town of Hawkins will once again face the terrors of the ghostly parallel dimension filled with slender man-eating predators and other supernatural evils. Our unlikely heroes will come face to face with the night-crawling creatures and some of their biggest fears in the upcoming Season 4, scheduled to come out in two parts - Vol 1 on May 27th, and Vol 2 on July 1st.
